CKaTT Major Midget Division (boys age 16 and under) didn't win any medal in the recently concluded 2007 Ontario Cup held in Ottawa, Ontario on May 11-13, 2007 but they did make a lot of noise giving the top two seeded teams in their Division 1 Pool A some tough outings. 

Ranked 9th in a division that has 90 competing teams, CKaTT was grouped in the elite Division 1 category which most people refer to as the  Triple A division.  They lost their first two games in the dying minutes of the games, bowing 79-63 to the eight seed, Toronto Five-O and 72-51 to the top seed Bounce/CIA # 1.  They won their last and final pool game against the 16th seed Ottawa Celtics, 80-57.  By placing third in their pool, CKaTT failed to advance to the championship round that was eventually won by  Bounce CIA # 2.

"Our Major Midget had a very good performance," Team Manager Gigi Varilla noted. "We played the #8 and #1 in Division 1 the best game they have ever encountered in that provincial championships until the last minutes of the fourth quarters but unfortunately because of the level of this competition our boys ran out of gas with the only few players we have. But we defeated the team that we are supposed to beat by a large margin. Overall, our CKATT Major Midget boys made noise around the best of the best in Ontario and showed the OBA that CKATT BASKETBALL is a great organization with a great bunch of good kids."
