Fresh from a gold medal finish in the
Guelph's CYO's 2007 Annual Basketball, CKaTT's Midget team (boys born 1992
or earlier) added a silver medal in their collection by finishing
second in the 2007 Blessed Sacrament Tournament in Hamilton, Ontario
held last April 27-29, 2007.
Our
boys of 1992 played in the Midget Boys Division 3 where they beat
the teams from Oakville Vytis (74-49) and Caledon Cougars (69-39)
before loosing to the Whitby Wildcats (57-48) in their final pool
games.
In the semi-finals, CKaTT played
against the first place team of the other pool, Niagara Falls Red
Raiders, which CKaTT won by a score of 59-57. The semi-finals
win earned our team a rematch against the Whitby Wildcats whom they
played in a very tight and exciting championship game. Wildcats won
the championship, 54-51.
The team is now preparing for the
Provincial Championships which will be held in Kingston, Ontario on
May 11-13, 2007 where CKaTT is ranked 39th (out of 66
participating teams) and will be playing in Division 3.

Magpantay (3), Jim Ochinang (8), Aaron Pantaleon (7), Darnell
