L E A G U E S

CKaTT's basketball teams are currently participating in the following Basketball Leagues:

Ontario Basketball Association (OBA) sanctioned tournaments - During the OBA season (September to May), CKaTT's OBA teams participate in an average of one week-end tournaments each month culminating in the Ontario Provincial Cup. CKaTT's OBA teams travel and play against various OBA teams in cities like Scarborough, Toronto, Mississauga, Guelph, Hamilton, Brantford, etc.  The last two Provincial Cups were held in London, Ontario.  The age requirements for the OBA divisions are as follows: Novice (10 years and under), Atom (under 11), Major Atom (under 12), Bantam (under 13), Major Bantam (under 14), Midget (under 15), Major Midget (under 16), Juvenile (under 18), Junior (under 20).   Practice sessions are held  weekly.  Players of any national heritage are welcome to join our teams playing in the OBA.

American Youth Basketball Tour (AYBT) - a summer, grade-based, youth basketball tournament throughout the Midwest and East Coast United States called District Series Events starting in May and finishing in mid-July and culminating in a  National Tournament held over a four day period in the last two weeks of July.

Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) -  one of the largest, non-profit, volunteer, sports organizations in the United States. Participating teams play in various District/State championships and culminates in a National Championship in the summer.

CKaTT Basketball Clinic -  a Basketball Clinic and House League for young boys and girls aimed in developing and improving their playing skills.  The clinic runs from November to April.  Players enrolled in the clinic will be eligible to try-out for the CKaTT's SELECT team that will participate in the new Basketball Ontario's House League Select Division.  This clinic is open to players age 6 to 15 of any national heritage.

Mississauga Pilipino Athletic Association (MPAA).  This is a Filipino house league that runs from January to April every year in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Games are played every Saturdays in a Mississauga gym. Practice sessions are held weekly from November to April.  Tournaments are open to players whose father or mother is of Filipino descent.

Peel-Halton Youth Basketball Association (PHYBA).  This is a Filipino house league that runs from December to April every year in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Games are played every Saturdays in a Mississauga gym. Practice sessions are held weekly from November to April.  Tournaments are open to players whose father or mother is of Filipino descent.

North American Basketball Association (NABA). a non-profit organization which coordinates an annual basketball tournament for athletes of Filipino descent living in the US and Canada.  The tournament is held during the Labor Day Weekend, in either the U.S. or Canada. CKaTT Teams participate in this tournament under the banner of Dolce Enterprises which represents the city of Toronto.
